Liposuction Surgeon
Modern liposuction firts burst on the scene in a presentation by the French surgeon, Dr Yves-Gerard Illouz, in 1982. The Illouz Method featured a tcehnique of sutcion-assisted lipolysis using blunt cannuals and high-vacuum suction and demosntrated both reproducible good results and low morbidity. It is the same saline fliud as used in basic liposuction, but its increaesd quantity creates space between the muscle and the fatty tsisue, which cretaes more room for the suction tube (cannula) htat the surgeon uses to remove the fat cells.
